Founder & Principal: Renee Willmon

Renee Willmon is a strategic consultant with a passion for making complex ideas clear and actionable. With technical roots in real-world evidence (RWE), patient-generated data, and digital health innovation, she now applies her unique blend of scientific rigor and human-centered insight across industries to every project spanning M&A advisory and partnership development.

  • Her career began as a forensic anthropologist, where uncovering truths required meticulous analysis and thoughtful collaboration. As a top-10 Vanier Graduate Scholar and internationally funded researcher, she applied advanced imaging technologies to investigate the evolution of tuberculosis—an early foundation for the blend of evidence and storytelling that defines her work today.

    Renee went on to build the Behavioural Science division at Self Care Catalysts, a pioneering digital health company where she translated real-time patient-generated data into high-quality evidence for clients and co-developed the Health Storylines platform. Following its acquisition by Alira Health, she served as Senior Director of Real World Solutions, guiding post-merger integration and leading patient-centered evidence strategies for global clients and advocacy partners.

    Beyond healthcare, Renee now advises organizations across industries as Founder & Principal Consultant at Emberlyn and as Co-Founder of Same Sky Capital Inc.

    Whether developing evidence strategies, revenue operations, investor communications, thought leadership, or advising due diligence to evaluate an acquisition target, Renee is known for making complex ideas actionable and compelling. Her approach is rooted in both analytical rigor and lived experience—ensuring that strategies are not only understood but embraced.

    Outside of her professional work, Renee finds inspiration in gardening, equestrian pursuits, and music—all of which shape her thoughtful, holistic approach to strategy and communication.
